What we did on our Holidays in Holiday Cottages Cornwall
Writing about what we did on our holidays was a near certainty for English teachers to give as homework when we returned after school summer holidays. As I write these words, I suddenly realize what a good way it was for new teachers to find out about our ability and family circumstances. Anyway, I have just had such a good country holiday in Cornwall I have decided to write about it. In recent years, I have seen rather too much of airports, so I wanted a peaceful English country holiday. The South West seemed like a good choice because the weather is usually mild. We went in August but even in such a busy month, we had no problem finding a good choice of Holiday Cottages Cornwall to let.

Star Fish Cottage
We booked a cottage near Redruth and spent the week doing long country walks and lazing reading in the garden. We went to a quiet pub for food, drink and conversation most evenings but otherwise did nothing very much at all for the whole week, best of all no travelling. Next time we will stay longer and visit the Eden Project and the Cornish mines museum. Obviously, we had to travel to and from Cornwall but that was really very easy and much of the scenery for the last few miles of the trip is quite wonderful. All in all Holiday Cottages Cornwall are a good choice for a quiet reinvigorating country holiday.
